Baby J. was born 2.5 weeks ago and sooooo adorable. She was the BEST little girl ever through the session. Pam your family is so wonderful! I hope you lke the sneak peeks. I know you are a BW photo fan so I will give you a little tease.

Poor little N. just had his 4 months shots on Friday, our session was on Saturday morning. He was such a trooper despite not feeling 100%, and did a WONDERFUL job. Thank you for having me into your home, you were such a great family. I hope N. feels better and see you in a few days.

  With every session there is one photo I fall in love with. This next one was one of the very first photos I edited and LOVE IT!!! The moment and teraction is perfect. Hopefully you do too, (but you won’t hurt my feelings if you don’t.

Yesterday morning, I meet the most fun and loving couple. It was easy to tell how excited they are for their baby girl to arrive. The mom-to-be couldn’t stop smiling the entire session. Such a beautiful day to do a beautiful session!!! You two were super and up for anything, I enjoyed  meeting you. Here are a few photos I have done.

Look at how cute these two are. I was able to spend Saturday morning with this wonderful family. It’s alway interesting to see the personality of children. During the session, the little girl wanted to have a pacifer, which her mom stated she usually does not take, and the little boy just wanted to stay curled up and sleep. They were the cutest little babies. When I look at the photo of the toes I want to touch them. Thank you for having me into your home, I enjoyed meeting you all!!!

If you are looking for a custom photographer to do your newborn session send an email or call. Typically, newborn sessions are scheduled to occur in the first two weeks after birth. 

I am also booking sessions for 2008. Clients have started to book their sessions into June, so if you are thinking about using an outdoor natural light child, family, maternity, or senior photography please do not wait until the last minute to try and schedule a portrait session. January is completely full and I am not filling dates in February and March.

I hope everyone enjoyed their holidays. We spent the week at my parents relaxing, visiting with family, and playing in the snow. I think the snow likes us because it followed us to my parents, rained here at home and we returned to grass, then woke up the next morning to snow on the ground. Thankfully, We love it!

Saturday morning I went to photography a maternity session for a wonderful family. They are expecting their second child and do not know if it’s a boy or girl.  I enjoyed meeting and working with you all. A. is just adorable, this baby is going to have a great big sister!! I hope you feel better A. Your maternity photos are finished and now we all await, some more anxiously than others , for the new baby to arrive. Being able to spend Sunday morning with the G. family was a pleasure. It was cold, windy, and rained but these boys were wonderful. Even though it was one of the coldest days this fall they all kept smiles on their faces. I couldn’t have asked for a better family to fight the cold with. Here are a few photos I have done, I hope you like them.

I spent Saturday Morning with a wonderful family. Right now I am finishing up with the editing of their session photos, what an adorable little guy. He was such a trooper and handled having a camera pointing at him for 2 plus hours better than most adults. Thank you for allowing me to come into your home and I hope you enjoy the sneak peeks. Just for my clients wanting holiday cards. Here is another design I created just for you all.

I have been trying to get all the information together for anyone who is interested in a Holiday Mini-session this fall. Just finished some Holiday cards to choose from and later this week will finalize prices, date, time, etc. If you are be intersted in a holiday session let me know. My plan is for the second weekend in October. If the mini-session does not work for you feel free to contact me about setting up a regular session for family children portraits for the holiday season, or just because. Photo albums make great Grandparent gifts.

Here is a sneak peak of one card I will offer this season.

On Saturday the family and another local photographer went to Downtown Detroit to check out new shooting locations. An imprompto session looking for little niche to represent an urban feel. Although Chris wouldn’t let us wonder down an alleyways with the girls . LOL! It ended up we walked around a few square blocks by Comerica Park and the Fox Theatre. The weather threatened to rain so we did the best we could. As soon as we left to drive home, we got on I-96 and sure enough the rain came pouring down. Here are a few photos I took and processed thus far.

On Saturday, I had a session with a wonderful little boy. He and his mom were wonderful and were up to just about anything. We were at Greenfield Village in Dearborn. Love the different little nooks to take pictures in the village. I could have spent all day shooting, although my model my have objected.:-D Here are two sneek peeks, hope you like them.
